NAME

showchans, shownicks --- show channels and nicks registered with IRC services

SYNOPSIS

showchans [-f data] [-n] [-h-?] [nick1 / chan1]

DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the showchans and shownicks commands.

This manual page was written for the Debian distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.

showchans and shownicks are symlinks to the hybserv binary. Invoked without arguments, they read the default channel or nickname databases and display all the registered channels or nicknames. The optional arguments are described below.

OPTIONS

-h -?
Shows the summary of options.
-f data
Specify data as the nick.db or chan.db to read from.
-n
Instead of displaying all the nicks, display how many registered channels or nicks there are.
nick1, chan1
Show details on the specified nick or channel.
