NAME

teamspeak-server - the daemon used to create a TeamSpeak server.

 

SYNOPSIS

teamspeak-server [-db=<filename>] [-ini=<filename>] [-sql=<path>] [-log=<filename>] [-pid=<filename>] [-badnames=<filename>] [-httpdocs=<path>] [-tcpquerydocs=<path>]

 

DESCRIPTION

teamspeak-server is the daemon used to create a TeamSpeak server.
TeamSpeak is a VoIP chat mostly used for online gaming.
You may consider looking at 'teamspeak' package which provides the X client.

 

OPTIONS

-db=<filename>
SQLite database.
-ini=<filename>
Configuration file.
-sql=<path>
Path to the SQL skeletons.
You should really set this options to '/usr/share/teamspeak-server/sql/sqlite/' unless you know what you do.
-log=<filename>
Log file.
-pid=<filename>
Pid file.
-badnames=<filename>
File containing the 'bad names'.
-httpdocs=<path>
Path to the html file used by the Web-admin interface.
You should really set this options to '/usr/share/teamspeak-server/httpdocs/' unless you know what you do.
-tcpquerydocs=<path>
Path to the scripts used by TCP queries.
You should really set this options to '/usr/share/teamspeak-server/tcpquerydocs/' unless you know what you do.

 

FILES

/etc/init.d/teamspeak-server
Debian init script, you really should use this script instead of running teamspeak-server from command line.
/etc/default/teamspeak-server
Configuration file for the init script.
You can set up specific options from this file.
/etc/teamspeak-server/server.ini
Teamspeak sever's configuration file.
/etc/teamspeak-server/passwords
Contains the passwords extracted from the log file.
